As of June 2025, Cisco has not officially announced a retirement date for the CCNA 200-301 exam. Historically, Cisco updates its certifications every 3–4 years, and the 200-301 was launched in February 2020.

The study time varies based on experience:

  • With prior IT/networking knowledge: ~3 months (100–150 hours).
  • No prior experience: ~5–6 months (200–300 hours).

Pro tips for faster success with Cisco CCNA training online:

  • Use virtual labs (e.g., Cisco Modeling Labs) for hands-on practice.
  • Follow our structured Cisco CCNA 200-301 course online to streamline learning.
  • Take gamified practice exams to identify weak areas.

As of 2025, there is only one CCNA certification (200-301), which consolidates all prior CCNA specializations (e.g., CCNA Security, CCNA Wireless) into a single exam. However, Cisco offers other associate-level certifications, such as:

  • DevNet Associate (200-901)
  • CyberOps Associate (200-201)

Note: Older CCNA specializations (e.g., CCNA Voice, CCNA Collaboration, CCNA Data Center, etc.) were retired in 2020 and merged into the current 200-301.
